Lessons

I have decided there are so many things I want to say to both of my boys so I will cut and past this onto both blogs.

I want to tell you both when you grow up to always be nice to the women in your life. Your mom (obviously), grandmas, teachers, girlfriends, future mother in laws, coworkers, all women. Never underestimate the power of a compliment. Women crave that. They crave compliments on their minds and their beauty. Small compliments go so far. Remember never to take them for granted, to thank them for the small things. With girlfriends always be romantic. Romance never goes out of style.

Promise to always be good to each other. You are brothers. You two are the only people that you can always trust. You have a bond formed by blood. Nothing can break that. Be nice to each other. Always have each others backs. Don't fight each other, respect each other, love each other.

Never let a day pass you by with out remembering how much I love you. You boys are my everything. Know that I always love you both unconditionally. No matter what choices you make I will support them. ANY CHOICE! I will defend you, protect you, and fight for you no matter what. Brandon, Codi, you two are my everything.

Know, that I understand I may not have always been the best that I can be to you. I'm sorry for every time I've yelled at you, and I'm sorry for everytime I will probably yell at you in the future. I'm sorry for the days I don't get your lunch packed on time. I am sorry that I get frustrated if your shirt and shoes don't match. I'm sorry if I am distant sometimes, I can't help it, it is how I am built. Brandon, I see that in you, I see my emotional state reflecting onto you, I'm sorry for the crazy I may pass on to either of you.

I want you to always know what an amazing father you have. Boys, that man loves you more then you can imagine. He may be quiet but always know you are the beat in his heart. Like me he will always be there for you. He is so protective of you. He has more patience then I will ever know. Brandon he has with out fail brushed your teeth and put you to bed every night since I became pregnant with your brother. He never misses putting you to bed. Codi, your father is still the only one who can pick you up, walk ten feet and manage to put you to sleep. You are so comfortable in his arms.

I enjoy watching you two learn. Watching your personalities bloom and grow. Brandon, you have made these past few months hilarious with the new words you have learned, such as telling daddy you are going to whoop his ass, or telling me you are Rylan's girlfriend, and she is your boyfriend. Codi, watching your silly habits develope has brought me so much laughter. Your dancing, and noises, and kisses, it all makes me giggle with delight.

Boys. Please know, you light up my life. I couldn't have asked for better boys! I love you!
